This simple yet magical gesture aims to challenge what you might expect and suggest new possibilities for this majestic material.

Even in an area famous for its marble, the quarries of Carrara are experiencing their own sustainability issues. As large blocks become more expensive to extract, they have an excess of smaller fragments. The response was this brief given to ten designers who were invited to create an object from a 10cm cubed piece of the famous marble. The results became the 10 Al Cubo exhibition.
